Funny that! Mlambe comedy night a huge success

A fantastic group of 70 supporters came together on Monday 12 June for a night of stand-up entertainment at the second comedy event hosted in aid of Mlambe Project.

With a rib tickling line-up and a free buffet, there was plenty to laugh about at the Civil Service Club in London where the audience laughed at the comedy stylings of the brilliant Loyiso Gola, Nigel NG, Nico Yearwood and Stefano Paolini.

The was also a generous raffle draw with winners receiving prizes including fidget spinners, a cheese and wine hamper, festival tickets and a meal for two at a posh restaurant in Soho, London.

The Mlambe Project's Head of Events Matt Higgins organised the event and said: "It's so nice to get everyone who is involved in the charity, and their friends and colleagues, together in one room to have a laugh for a great cause. The fact that it was on Monday also helped take the edge off the working week!"

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us. Your generosity has given the gift of education and will help support our educational projects, including building sustainable schools, which work to improve the lives of communities in Malawi.
