Education rules! Enrolment at Mlambe School more than doubles

As we're sure you know already, we've been working at Mlambe School for over four years now. In that time the site has transformed to include new school blocks, a computer suite, a football pitch and housing for our teachers.

We're incredibly proud of these achievements, but these are secondary aims to what all of this ultimately for: Education. Education in Malwawi is how people truly transform their lives and education allows young women and men achieve security for their families.

In this, the first entry in a series of blogs that will document development within the school and academic achievement, we're delighted to share the upturn in enrolment since 2012. Some of the school's records have been destroyed due to flooding but we've taken a mean of the monthly enrolment year on year so we can clearly see the increase.
