Test your trivia for Mlambe!

On Friday the 10th March, one of our lovely volunteers Chelsea is hosting a ticketed event at the Civil Service Club in London. Presented by Shaun Wallace (The Chase), tickets include an evening full of trivia fun, and each table of six will get food, popcorn and a bottle of prosecco! What's more, all of the money raised is to fund the building of a teachers house at The Mlambe School in Chikolongo.

This particular project is to build a teachers house in the small village of Chikolongo, Malawi. The cost of the building materials for the teachers house is £5,500 which includes a toilet, shower and kitchen area. Teachers’ houses are essential to ensure the continued presence of good, local teachers at rural schools in Malawi. School teachers' houses are a governmental requirement in Malawi in rural areas and so if there is no house available for a teacher to move into, the teacher has grounds to refuse their placement - leaving the school with one teacher to teach two classes. Chelsea Bray will be travelling to Malawi, to personally assist on the project in 2017.
